her carrer in Portugal, but she dreamed more higher and she left to US and tried be sucessful.

And she definetly got sucess! She is the Special Agent Kensi Blye in NCIS: Los Angels.

Portugal got talent: Nelly Futado

Nelly Furtado was born 2 December 1978. Her parents are portuguese but they emigrated to Canada, so she has portuguese and canadian nationality. She's singer, song writer, record producer and actress.

 She edited her first album (Whoa, Nelly!) in 2000 and she gained many sucess. She edited more three albums (Folklore, Loose, Mi Plan). She edited more three albums (Folklore, Loose, Mi Plan). She is working on a new album which is set for release on June of 2012.

Her work was awarded with one Grammy Award in 2002 as Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

She already worked with many other famous singers such as Flo Rida, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Juanes, James Morrison...

She was chosen for sang the theme official of 2004 European Football Championship

I'm portuguese and I have very proud of it. It's true there is many things wrong in this country but we have so many things good! And I think I must share what good we have with every one.
